World Asthma Day 3rd May 2016, Activates arranged by the Pakistan Chest Society Central as the theme of the year 2016 was “BREATH WELL LIVE WELL”

Press Conference at Press club Peshawar on 2nd May 2016 Monday 01 Pm, addressed by the  Prof Dr Arshad Javaid, Dr Zai Ullah, Dr Saadia Ashraf at the occasion,

Seminar at the Auditorium Khyber Medical College  was arranged on 10th May 2016 by the Dr Mukhtiar Zaman Afridi , Dr Saadia Ashraf and Dr Shahid Afridi Presentation were carried out by the speakers at the Seminar.

Walk: -Walk was arranged on 3rd May 2016 from the Khyber Teaching Hospital Doctors Hostel up to the Main gate of the Hospital. Doctors from the Pulmonology Dept, Paramedical staff , Nursing Staff participated in the walk with the Display of the awareness Banners regarding the importance of World Asthma Day.

Seminar at the Auditorium of the Khyber Teaching Hospital for the Nursing Staff, Paramedical Staff and other Medical Doctors of the Hospital on 3rd May 2016.

Display of the Banners with Awareness message for general public at the Three Teaching Hospital (Lady Reading Hospital, Khyber Teaching Hospital and Hayatabad Medical Complex).

Patient Education session and Walk was arranged at the Bannu Medical College by the Incharge Medical Unit Dr Fazli Mula Chest Physician working there. Medical Students and the staff participated at the walk.

GSK Pharma also arranged Grand Seminar At PC Peshawar on 3rd May 2016, 08 Pm   Foreign Speaker from UK was invited to give a comprehensive lecture regarding Asthma Advances. Pulmonologist, Medical Specialist, Family Physicians and General Practioners participated at the occasion

Electronic & Print Media Coverage was carried out by the different Channels with the interview of the experts. Daily Mashriq, Daily Express Daily Aaj, Daily Subha,Daily Frontier Post, Daily Owsaf,, Daily Jung,, Daily Ayen, Daily Pakistan, gave the coverage to the Seminar, Walk and Press Conference.
